You have the right, under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, to withdraw from the loan agreement and you do not need to give us any reason. To withdraw from the agreement, you must give us oral or written notice of the withdrawal before the end of the period of 14 days beginning with the day after the day the agreement is made. You can withdraw by contacting us via email at contact@getabound.com or live chat by tapping the help button in the bottom right corner of this page.
After 14 days, you may still repay your loan in full at any time. Abound does not charge any fees or penalties for early repayment. However you will be charged interest on your balances up until the point that you repay.
Will I still be charged interest?
After the 14 days, you'll only be charged interest for the period where the money has been borrowed. The balance you'll need to pay is shown on your account, you can make this payment by tapping 'Make a payment'.
Can I transfer the balance from my bank to settle the loan?
Yes, you can send the funds via faster payment in your banking app or by speaking to your bank directly.
The details for transferring are as follows:
Account Name: Abound
Account Number: 49034391
Sort Code: 60-00-01
When you are prompted to enter a transaction description you must enter your 6 digit loan reference. You can find this on your credit agreement or statement. We may be unable to allocate the funds to your account if you do not use the correct reference. Once you've made your full payment your loan will show as settled.
