Don't worry - this is a common setting that can be fixed in seconds! If you accidentally tapped "Block" or "Don't Allow" when your phone asked for camera permission, follow these steps to get back on track.
Iām using an iPhone (Safari)
Try this first:
While on the Abound website, look at the address bar at the bottom (or top) of your screen.
Tap the "AA" icon (iOS 25 or earlier) or the "Three dots/Settings" icon (iOS 26+).
Tap "Website Settings."
Find Camera and change the setting to "Allow."
Refresh the page - this is a vital step!
If that doesn't work:
Go to your iPhone Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Safari.
Under the "Settings for Websites" section, tap Camera.
Ensure it is set to "Ask" or "Allow."
Iām using an Android phone (Chrome)
Try this first:
To the left of the web address (URL), tap the Lock icon or the Settings icon.
Tap "Permissions" or "Site Settings."
Toggle the Camera switch to "On."
Go back to the browser and refresh the page.
If that doesn't work:
Go to your phone's main Settings ā Apps.
Find Chrome (or your preferred browser) and tap it.
Tap Permissions ā Camera.
Select "Allow only while using the app."
Still not working? Quick Fixes:
Close the tab: Completely close your browser app and reopen the link from your email or SMS.
Incognito Mode: Cameras often do not work in "Private" or "Incognito" mode. Switch to a standard browser tab.
The "Magic" Restart: If all else fails, restart your phone. This often resets stuck hardware permissions.
